Mission Statement
Jackson Area Beekeepers (JAB) was founded in January 2003 with the
purpose to:
1. Provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and mutual support in the

keeping of honey bees and the marketing of honey.
2. Share our insights and passion for beekeeping to help others grow in

their appreciation and enjoyment of keeping bees.
3. Encourage the beginner beekeeper and help to establish first-time

beekeepers in the success of their efforts.
4. Become a resource of materials and equipment, whether to buy,

sell or trade, or to take advantage of group discounts through

volume purchases.
5. Become a platform from which individuals may capitalize on the

collective wisdom of the group and expand their interests and

diversify their participation in their respective beekeeping

enterprise.
At this time there are no officers, no dues, no minutes, no elections--just beekeepers meeting together to talk about beekeeping and help each other out.
